About us

My name is Francesca. I am a Personal Chef-On-Call... I love cooking with wild herbs that I find in unspoilt meadows, and I am fascinated by all that is natural and organic. Inevitably you will be able to "breathe" my enthusiasm while staying at our B&B a passion that I pass on to my daughter Lola, who lives the mountain life just like Heidi. During spring and summer I organise group meetings to learn to identify and use the herbs that grow on Mount Baldo, the immense "Garden of Europe".

My husband Stefano tends to the garden and the allotment with great care and passion and in his spare time he devotes himself to carpentry: some of the furniture in the B&B's bedrooms has been made by him. More recently Stefano has taken to doing some conjuring and magic tricks and will offer to liven up your evenings in the garden.

We are a family that tries to lead a slower life than today's frenetic lifestyle and together we are lucky to live in such a delightful place, that let's us be at one with nature in its entirety. You will thoroughly enjoy being our guests and being looked after by a family that will do everything possible to help you have a wonderful holiday!

The Accomodation

The house is surrounded by a large garden full of plants, with centuries-old trees, where you will be to spend time relaxing and enjoying the peacefulness with fantastic views of Lake Garda and the mountain peaks of Mount Baldo. The three large bedrooms have been tastefully furnished with an artistic and personal touch, and they each have a panoramic view.

The ample communal areas have been carefully thought out to guarantee that the rooms are homely, where you will be able to take time to read a book from our own library or watch a film projected on an entire wall. Aperitifs and snacks are skillfully prepared by the owner of the house who is a great enthusiast of organic cuisine. All of the products used are strictly local and the vegetables are freshly gathered from the allotments that are personally cultivated by the owners. Breakfast is served in the garden or, according to the time of year, in a pleasant dining room or in your room. All products used are organic and locally sourced. A special menu can be made up on request for those who may have a particular food intolerance.

Room 1

A very spacious double room with great charm and a beautiful view on Mount Baldo and Garda Lake. It is possible to add an extra bed. Children's crib is free. Bathroom with shower shared with Room #2. Private bathroom may be available on request in off-peak season.

Room 2

Double room with a view on Mount Baldo; this room is ideal as a second room for families (adjacent to Room #1. Bathroom with shower shared with Room #1. Private bathroom may be available on request in off-peak season.

Room 3

Bright and spacious double room with a view on Garda Lake and private bathroom with bathtub. It is possible to add an extra bed. Children's crib is free.
